Todd Blackledge visited Stanford during week 5 of the 2013 college football season. He tested a trio of local favorites during his visit. The episode aired on October 5th during the Washington vs Stanford.

“Stanford University is one of the most beautiful and unique places I’ve ever visited, so I decided Taste of the Town had to be unique as well. I solicited recommendations from Stanford fans and alumni via Twitter and my website. I came up with a lot of different suggestions, but a few things made their way to the top of my list. From the on-campus location of Ike’s Place, the Paul Reuben’s Sandwich, pastrami, homemade poppyseed coleslaw, swiss cheese and french dressing, all on their famous Dutch crunch bread. Cinnamon streusel topped blueberry coffee cake from Hobee’s and my beverage of choice, a handcrafted medium roast coffee from Phil’s Coffee. Stanford: Sophisticated and scrumptious.”
