The new football performance center that the Oregon Ducks are going to have this upcoming season is impressive to say the least.

The luxurious new complex includes 64 new flat screens, a movie theater and even a barber shop. Some of the new features also include:

  • A new media room with theater-style seating for post game interviews and press conferences

  • A two-story theater for the full team to study film on a retractable 30-foot projection screen

  • New coaches offices to overlook the practice fields that include shades to darken the room with the touch of a button for reviewing film on the drop down flat screens

  • A new state of the art weight room including custom-made squat racks and a 40-yard electronic track lane

  • Lockers with double doors that slide into the frame to eliminate barriers and benches which face out to encourage teammate interaction

  • A barber shop near the locker room offering haircuts at a student rate

  • New coaches’ locker room includes a hydrotherapy pool and mirrors with TVs embedded in them.

I think this new facility will get the players excited to come to practice every day and will certainly help when it comes to recruiting.
