With both teams hoping to make a run for the SEC title and even the BCS title, this game is a must watch.
The Bulldogs are coming off a Week 1 loss against the Clemson Tigers 38-35. While the Bulldogs offense looked great with 545 total yeards, their defense couldn’t hold an even better performance by Clemson’s offense.
On the other hand, South Carolina came out on top last week at home against UNC with a dominating running game. We didn’t get to see much from Gamecock quarterback Connor Shaw, but their defense held UNC to only 10 points in their 27-10 win.
The key to this match up will likely rely on each team’s defense. South Carolina has a three-game winning streak against Georgia, but this still may not determine the SEC East champion, depending how each of these teams does the remainder of the season.
While this is a home game for the Bulldogs, South Carolina is looking to be the favorite for this match up.
