This weekend’s game against Auburn will be LSU’s first SEC game this season after  a 3-0 start. Auburn is also undefeated heading into this SEC West match up as they head to Baton Rouge on Saturday to face their rival Tigers.

LSU’s football team is known to be physical, but Gus Malzahn’s Tigers won’t back down easy. Malzahn (@CoachGusMalzahn) is known to create a dominant offense and is shaping Nick Marshall to do just that. But for Auburn, it’s going to be all about stepping up their defense.

Their biggest challenge is going to be to stop Zach Mettenberger. Mattenberger has started off this season with nearly 800 yards, nine touchdowns and zero interceptions. But that’s not all. LSU also has one of the best running games in the nation.

Les Miles (@LSUCoachMiles) and OC Cam Cameron (@LSUCoachCam) have certainly done a great job of establishing Mattenberger, making this year’s Tigers an offensive powerhouse.

This SEC battle will be fun to watch and it will be interesting to see who’s still undefeated in the SEC West.

Auburn and LSU will be playing this Saturday night at 7:45 EST at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on ESPN with Todd Blackledge and Brad Nessler.
