Buttermilk Biscuits


Great recipe that we received from Mamas Boy in Athens Georgia!


  • 70 g kosher salt
  • 170 g baking powder
  • 4000 g all purpose flour
  • 3# butter
  • 3 quarts buttermilk

Servings: 50-60

Cook Time: 12-15 minutes


  1. Mix dry first & then butter until pea like consistency. Then add buttermilk last & do not mix for more than a minute.
  2. Knead quickly and roll out half size you want to rise.
  3. Cut biscuits & lay right next to each other bake on 425 for 12-15 minutes.
  4. You can add melted butter to top before baking for golden brown top.
